OK…so many of my family and friends think just because I have a blog I am super savvy on all things technology…appy…facebooky…I am not…I struggle with all the “newfangled” social shopping platforms…but it is the way things are going and I love to shop and save…so I usually try it…with varied levels of success.
There is a new one called Ownza…at least it is new to me.
Ownza gives you exclusive deals, based on the stuff you like. Add the things you own and want to unlock discounts; the more you add, the better the deals.
I have been playing around with it…it seems very pinterest-inspired (though to my knowledge it is not affiliated with Pinterst in any way)…you will need to use the app via facebook and create an account…takes like 20 seconds…username, email and password and go…then it will show you some really cool items and ask you if you own or want the item…it will also show you were you can get the item…I was really surprsed that one of the items I loved was from an Etsy shop (love Etsy)…and then you can tell them the products you own (like I did one for toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner and you unlock discounts to popular stores this way…..and that is as far as I have gotten with it.

My 2 cents this far in…if you love to shop for cool and unique items and/or get some great decor/fashion ideas….then you will like this site.
