Here is an easy, kid friendly craft to make ornaments for your tree!
Cinnamon Applesauce Ornaments
1 cup cinnamon
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup craft glue
Combine applesauce and cinnamon in bowl.
Add glue. If dough is too thick and loose, add a little Elmer’s school glue and applesauce until it forms a dough consistency.
Roll dough to approximately 1/4″ thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shape of ornament and set aside to dry.
Poke a hole in the top of ornament using a small straw while wet. This will be the hole where your ribbon will go for hanging.
Allow ornament to dry for 24 hours.
Then paint and decorate according to your preference!
This is one I made back in 2006 and it still smells awesome!
